In this Privacy Policy, we explain which personal data we collect and use, and for what purposes we do so. We recommend that you read this Privacy Policy carefully. This Privacy Policy applies to our website, www.complimac.nl, as well as related websites and services.

Processing of Personal Data

Please note that we collect and use the personal data you provide to us because this is necessary in order to enter into and perform any agreement with you. This applies to our (potential) customers as well as to parties from whom we purchase goods and/or services.

Website Visitors

If you fill in a contact form on the website or send us an email, the data you provide will be stored for as long as is necessary for the complete response and handling of your request. We only request personal data that are essential for the performance of our services.

You are not obliged to provide your personal data. However, if you choose not to, we may be unable to perform the aforementioned activities.

Analytics

Data you provide may be used for statistical analysis, including through Google Analytics. We use this service to gain insights into how visitors use our website, such as:

  • The sources of website traffic
  • How long visitors stay on the site
  • Which pages are viewed

These anonymised statistics are essential for improving our website and its user experience. IP addresses are anonymised, as they are not relevant to us. We only use aggregate data, not individual user data.

Google may share this anonymised information with third parties when legally required or when such parties process the data on Google’s behalf. We have allowed Google to use the analytics data for other Google services. We have no control over how Google or third parties use this data. You can read Google’s privacy policy to learn how they handle anonymised data. By using our website, you consent to the processing of your data by Google as described above.

Cookies

We aim to provide you with relevant and personalised information in a user-friendly way. To achieve this, our websites use various types of cookies. We only place cookies that are necessary for the website to function properly (functional cookies), such as enabling comments, spam filters, video playback, and caching to speed up the website. We also use analytical cookies that do not infringe on your privacy (statistical cookies).

Cookies are generally stored for the duration of your browser session. Your IP address may also be stored in our web server logs when using our services. This is necessary to properly manage and secure our services.

We do not use marketing cookies. Marketing cookies track visitors across websites to display personalised ads. We do not use your IP address to track or record your online behaviour. We are unable to link your IP address to your name, address, or other identifying information—unless you have provided such information yourself and continue using the same IP address.

You can disable cookies by configuring your web browser not to store them. You can also delete previously stored cookies via your browser settings.
